The Gallu Waterfall

A beautiful place to visit just an hour's hike away from Gallu Village near Dharamkot in Himachal Pradesh. The picture shows only a small section of the waterfall. The place contains several of these small "pools" where the water collects before flowing down to the next level. The water is emerald green and bone-chillingly cold. I went in to take a dip and came out shivering in less than a minute.
